The Homecoming - September 4th

In honor of the US Armed Forces, The Nation of Patriots launched a nationwide effort called The Patriot Tour on May 28th of this year. The goal of the tour was to unite as many Americans as possible behind the brave men and women who have voluntarily placed themselves in harm’s way to protect the foundations, the freedoms, the people, and the future of the United States of America. To accomplish this massive feat, we needed a symbol that represents us all, a symbol of power, strength, and pride. That symbol is the American flag. Through the help of thousands upon thousands of Americans we have managed to pass one American flag through 48 states, almost 14,000 miles, over one hundred days as a massive, collective, and united tribute to the US Armed Forces. We want all of the Americans that have proudly served, are serving, will serve, and the families of those that paid the ultimate sacrifice in their service to this country that there are hundreds of thousands of us standing behind them and aim to make our respect known for all they have done and will continue to do. We constitute a Nation of Patriots.

Please note: There will be a group leaving Wisconsin HD at 8:00am sharp. CORRECTION!!! Wisconsin Harley-Davidson will be providing a small breakfast at the parking lot and meeting place in Madison NOT at the dealership*** There will also be groups meeting at Capital City HD (6200 Millpond Road Madison, WI 53718) at 8:00am and they will depart for the Capital at 8:45am sharp. Capital City HD will also have a small breakfast for those in attendance. If you CANNOT make either of these meeting spots you can go directly to the MG&E parking lot in Madison. ALL groups will meet there at 9am and leave at 10am. Please plan accordingly.

Homecoming Ceremony and Events

9 a.m. – Riders meet at MG&E Parking lot, 614 E Main St. Madison, WI

9:15 a.m. riders walk to Capitol (about 8 blocks) to participate in flag lowering ceremonies

9:30 a.m. flag is lowered from Capitol and transferred to flag bearer who will carry it to rider escorts waiting in Blair Street parking lot

10 a.m. – kick stands up for ride to Wisconsin Harley Davidson in Oconomowoc (1280 Blue Ribbon Drive Oconomowoc WI 53066)

11:30 a.m. – assembly for homecoming ceremony

NOON – Wisconsin Harley-Davidson Homecoming ceremony

1 p.m. – lunch and photos, sharing of 2010 Patriot Tour photos

2:30 p.m. – kick stands up for ride to Wisconsin Rally at Budweiser Pavilion (640 South 84th Street West Allis, WI 53214)

3:30 p.m. – Flag Bearers Introduction

3:45 p.m. – Slide show of pictures from tour
